We use only strictly necessary cookies — those required to run the service and keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
We use the following processors, who handle data only on our instructions: Supabase (database and hosting, region eu-west-1 / Ireland), Vercel (application hosting), Stripe (payments), and Anthropic (Claude, to power AI features such as Diagnose).
Your Diagnose inputs are sent to Anthropic solely to generate your response and are not used to train AI models. Some of these providers are located outside the EU/EEA and Brazil; where that happens, transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses. We do not sell your personal data.
The trades, setups, notes, and experiments you create are private to your account. We do not sell them, and we do not share the content of your individual trades or setups with anyone other than the processors above that are needed to run the service. We do not use your individual trading content for any purpose other than providing SmartLog to you.
We may use irreversibly anonymised, aggregated data — patterns across many users that can no longer identify you or your account — to operate and improve the service and to teach the method. This never covers the trades or setups of a specific, identifiable person; using anyone’s individual content to teach requires their explicit consent.
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. If you downgrade, your logged trades and setups are preserved, not deleted — you regain full access if you upgrade again.
You may request deletion of your account and personal data at any time by contacting us; if you delete your account or ask us to erase your data, we do so within 30 days, except where we must keep records to meet a legal obligation (e.g. payment records).
Depending on where you live, you have rights over your personal data under laws such as the EU/UK GDPR, Brazil’s LGPD, and Canada’s PIPEDA (and, in Québec, Law 25) — including the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent.
To exercise any of these, email marcos@smartlogtrading.com. You may also complain to your local authority — in Portugal the CNPD, in Brazil the ANPD, in Canada the Office of the Privacy Commissioner (or, in Québec, the Commission d’accès à l’information).
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit and hashed credentials. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep yours safe.
SmartLog is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from minors.
We may update this policy; we will post the new version here and update the date above. Material changes will be notified in-app.
